After the success of capturing content at Food & Fuel, I was invited back to join the AutoAlex team once again — this time for a bigger and more established project: ShedFest 2025.
While ShedFest may not be the most prestigious or luxurious event in the UK car calendar, it has a charm of its own. It is full of character, personality, and cars that feel genuinely loved by their owners, which makes it a great event to photograph.
As an automotive photographer based in Hampshire and Surrey, I always enjoy covering events that show the real variety of the UK car scene. ShedFest 2025 had plenty of that, from unusual builds and modified cars to small details that made each vehicle stand out.
About This ShedFest 2025 Gallery
This gallery brings together a mix of modified cars, unique builds, detail shots, and wider event moments from the day. Rather than treating it like a formal show gallery, I wanted the photos to reflect what ShedFest is really about: interesting cars, a relaxed atmosphere, and the character of the AutoAlex community.
Some events are about luxury and perfection. ShedFest is more about enthusiasm, humour, and a shared love of cars. That made it a really enjoyable event to cover from a photography point of view.
Working With the AutoAlex Team
Being invited back to work with the AutoAlex team was a great opportunity. After previously shooting at Food & Fuel, ShedFest 2025 felt like a natural next step, with a larger event, a bigger crowd, and even more to capture throughout the day.
Events like this need photography that feels clean and professional, but still honest to the atmosphere of the day. My aim was to create a gallery that felt polished without losing the fun, informal character that makes ShedFest what it is.
