Food & Fuel - The First Course 2025

Food & Fuel – The First Course 2025 marked the debut of AutoAlex’s newest event, held at Bicester Motion in April. With the AutoAlex name already well known across the UK car scene, this first event had a lot of attention around it before the gates even opened.

The idea behind Food & Fuel is simple but effective: bring together good cars, good food, and a strong community atmosphere. From a photography point of view, that made it a great event to capture. It was not just about the cars on display, but the full feel of the day, from the location and people to the smaller details that made the event stand out.

As an automotive photographer based in Hampshire and Surrey, I always enjoy covering events that feel relaxed, well put together, and full of character. Food & Fuel had that from the start, and for a debut event, it already felt like something with real potential in the UK car calendar.

About This Food & Fuel Gallery

This gallery brings together a mix of cars, details, and event moments from Food & Fuel – The First Course 2025 at Bicester Motion. The aim was to capture the atmosphere of the event while also giving the cars the attention they deserved.

Bicester Motion is already a brilliant setting for automotive photography, with its historic motoring backdrop and strong links to the car world. Combined with the AutoAlex community, it gave the event a setting that felt both established and fresh at the same time.

The photoset includes a mixture of full-car shots, close-up details, wider event coverage, and the general atmosphere from the day. For a first event, Food & Fuel had a clear identity, and that made it enjoyable to document from start to finish.

Working With the AutoAlex Team

Being involved with the AutoAlex team for the launch of Food & Fuel was a great opportunity. As a new event, there was a real sense of excitement around it, and it felt like the start of something that could grow quickly within the UK automotive community.

Events like this need photography that feels professional but not overly staged. The goal was to create a gallery that showed the cars, the setting, and the people in a natural way, while still giving the final images a clean and polished look.

Automotive Event Photography at Bicester Motion

Bicester Motion is one of the most recognisable automotive locations in the UK, making it a strong choice for a car event like Food & Fuel. Its mix of heritage, open space, and automotive culture gives photographers plenty to work with, whether capturing individual vehicles, event details, or the wider atmosphere.

For this gallery, I wanted the images to reflect both the launch of the event and the character of the location. Food & Fuel may have been new, but it already had the right ingredients: interesting cars, a strong community, and a setting that suited the event perfectly.

Although this gallery was photographed at Bicester Motion, I cover automotive events, private car shoots, dealership photography, club meets, and brand work across Hampshire, Surrey, and the wider UK.
