Food & Fuel – The First Course 2026 Automotive Photography
In April 2026, I was back with AutoAlex for Food & Fuel – The First Course at Bicester Motion, following on from the success of the previous event. Once again, it brought together a brilliant mix of petrolheads, food lovers, and sunshine, making it a great day to photograph from start to finish.
Food & Fuel has quickly become one of those events that feels relaxed, busy, and full of energy. There was another strong turnout, with plenty of cars, people, and details to capture throughout the day. As an automotive photographer based in Hampshire and Surrey, these are exactly the kind of events I enjoy covering: good cars, good atmosphere, and a client who understands the value of strong event photography.
I was very happy with the images I captured from the day. AutoAlex is also one of my regular clients, and their projects often need a fast turnaround, so I fast-tracked the editing and delivery to make sure the final gallery was ready quickly and professionally.
About This Food & Fuel 2026 Gallery
This gallery brings together a selection of images from Food & Fuel – The First Course 2026 at Bicester Motion, covering the cars, people, food, and wider event atmosphere.
The event had a great mix of automotive content and lifestyle moments, which gave the gallery more variety than a standard car meet. From full-car shots and detail images to natural crowd moments and wider event coverage, the aim was to capture the feeling of the day rather than just the vehicles on display.
For a client like AutoAlex, event photography needs to be useful across several platforms. The images may be used for social media, future promotion, website content, community updates, or general event coverage, so the final gallery needs to feel polished, varied, and ready to use.
Fast Turnaround Event Photography for AutoAlex
One of the key parts of working with AutoAlex is speed. Their events and content move quickly, so a fast turnaround is often essential. For Food & Fuel 2026 at Bicester Motion, I prioritised the edit and delivery to make sure the images could be used while the event was still fresh in people’s minds.
Fast delivery does not mean rushing the final result. The goal is to work efficiently while still keeping the images clean, consistent, and professional. This is especially important for regular clients who need reliable photography that fits around their schedule and content plans.
Being trusted again by AutoAlex for Food & Fuel was a real pleasure, and it is always good to work with a client where there is an established understanding of the style, pace, and final use of the images.
Capturing the Atmosphere of Food & Fuel
Food & Fuel is not just a car event. The mix of cars, food, people, and relaxed outdoor energy gives it a wider appeal, which is part of what makes it enjoyable to photograph.
For this gallery, I focused on the full feel of the day: the cars arriving, people enjoying the event, food and vendor details, and the general buzz around the AutoAlex community. The sunny weather helped bring everything together and gave the images a bright, warm feel that suited the event well.
The final photoset was designed to show why Food & Fuel continues to grow, with images that capture both the cars and the people who make the event what it is.
